Swansea University to Host This Year’s Annual Richard Burton Lecture

Swansea University has announced their Annual Richard Burton Lecture is taking place on Thursday, November 16.

A spokesman said:

“This year we are delighted to be welcoming Filmmaker and Professor of Cinema and Digital Media, University of California, Davis Branwen Okpako.

“Her talk, entitled ‘Wales, Nigeria and Cinema: The Berlin Years’ will take place between 7pm and 8pm at the Taliesin Arts Centre on our  Singleton Campus.”

The Richard Burton Lecture is part of an annual series of prestigious events led by the Richard Burton Centre in collaboration with the Cultural Institute at Swansea University.
